33 years ago, HKK was established, serving the domestic market with the zipper products named the Bear. In the early days of development in 1989, Hoan My enterprise was operated in the form of a private production factory, headquartered at 2 Phan Van Tri, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City. At that time, there were only a few dozen workers and equipment on an area of 1,000 m2 on the Z755 factory campus.
During this period, the domestic garment industry began to develop following the trend of tailoring. Family tailor shops provide all clothes for Vietnamese consumers. With outstanding quality, HKK zipper products quickly won domestic tailors’ trust. Thus, the more the domestic garment market developed, the more HKK grew over this time period.
Sau 5 năm, đến năm 1994, HKK dời nhà máy từ Gò Vấp về Vĩnh Phú, Thuận An, Bình Dương. Giai đoạn này đánh dấu một chặng đường phát triển mới làm nền tảng cho những bước tiến dài hơi sau này của thương hiệu khoá kéo HKK hướng đến kế hoạch tăng trưởng, quy mô sản xuất được đầu tư mạnh. Lực lượng sản xuất nâng lên 600 công nhân và 800 máy móc thiết bị hoạt động trên mặt bằng 12.000 m2, rộng gấp 12 lần so với cơ sở cũ. Đồng thời, công ty cũng nâng tầm hoạt động lên mô hình doanh nghiệp tư nhân – Công ty TNHH Khóa Kéo Hoàn Mỹ.
25 năm sau ngày thành lập, năm 2014 đánh dấu thêm bước ngoặt mới cho sự lớn mạnh của HKK. Công ty nhà máy từ Vĩnh Phú, Thuận An về Tân Uyên, Bình Dương để đáp ứng cho mô hình hoạt động lớn mạnh hơn. Nhà máy tại Tân Uyên, nơi HKK hiện hoạt động rộng đến 70.000 m2 với hơn 1.200 máy móc thiết bị. Với quy mô này, nhà máy sản xuất của HKK được đánh giá là một trong những nhà máy mang tầm vóc của thế giới tại Việt Nam.
