In order to well perform fire prevention and fighting in the Company and raise the awareness, roles and responsibilities of fire safety for each employee working at the Company, on November 9 of 2014, the Company's Administration and Human Resources Department coordinated with the Police Department of Fire Prevention and Fighting from Binh Duong Province to organize training, fostering fire prevention and fighting skills and practice firefighting plans at Vinh Phu Factory (HKK’s old factory).

There were 78 participants joined in the training course, including the Factory Safety Committee and the Fire Prevention and Fighting Team led by Mr. Nguyen Tan Hat.

At the training session, the trainees were provided with information about the big fires causing serious damage to people and property that occurred nationwide and in Binh Duong province in recent years.

They were also imparted basic knowledge and legal documents about fire prevention and fighting; the causes of fire and explosion; many fire prevention and fighting measures at offices and families. Instructors guided the firefighting team to use on-site firefighting equipment, skills, how to handle situations when a fire or explosion occured, escape skills, and firefighting measures.

This was a training session with serious preparation of people as well as equipment for fire protection. The training session was an opportunity for the Company's fire prevention team to improve their knowledge and sense of responsibility for fire prevention and fighting activities, thereby taking the initiative in fire prevention and fighting when a fire or explosion incident occured.
